Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins

Ingredients


  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • 3 ripe, medium to large bananas

  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled

  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Prepare muffin pan (lightly grease with butter or line with baking liners).

  3. In a large bowl, mash bananas. Add in melted butter and sugar. Add beaten eggs and vanilla extract. Mix until combined.

  4. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Mix to combined.

  5. Combine wet and dry mixture. Do not over mix. Add chocolate chips or add-ins of choice. Mix to combine.

  6. Divide batter between 12 muffin cups.

  7. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until a tooth pick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean and tops are golden brown.
