Strawberry Lemonade Crinkle Cookies

Ingredients

Cookies

· 1 box strawberry cake mix

· 1 box lemon cake mix

· 4 eggs

· 2/3 cup vegetable oil

· 1 tsp lemon juice

· Powdered sugar

Icing

· 1 cup powdered sugar

· 1 tbs milk

· 1 tsp lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

Cookie

1. Lightly grease baking sheet. I personally like to use a non-stick spray.

2. Lemon cake mix: In a medium/large bowl, whisk 2 eggs, 1/3 cup vegetable oil, 1 tsp lemon juice, and cake mix. Mix until combined. Put bowl aside.

3. Strawberry cake mix: In a medium/large bowl, whisk 2 eggs, 1/3 cup vegetable oil, and cake mix. Mix until combined.

4. Place dough in refrigerator for 1 hour to firm.

5. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

6. Scoop 1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon of lemon dough and roll into a ball.

7. Scoop 1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon of strawberry dough and roll into a ball.

8. Combine the lemon and strawberry dough to make one large ball.

9. Place the dough ball in a bowl of powdered sugar and roll to lightly coat it.

10. Place dough ball on baking sheet, at least 2 inches apart.

11. Bake for 10 minutes or until cooked.

12. Let the cookies cool before frosting.

Icing

1. Whisk together 1 cup powdered sugar and 1 tbs of milk, and 1 tsp of lemon juice (optional).

2. Drizzle icing on cookie with spoon.
